Entrepreneur.com published a powerful article called “6 Business Development Tips to Land Multi-Million Dollar Deals“. It highlights the best practices for closing multi-million dollar business development deals. The article referenced my success in closing huge deals with Fortune 75 companies as SkyBell’s CRO – and it quoted my advice as well. But the most exciting part was being called “one of the top entrepreneurs in the Internet of Things.”

I’m humbled and honored for the reference and praise. Since I helped start SkyBell 3 years ago, I’ve been redefining what home security can look like in a connected world. By shifting to a platform strategy and working with our partner prospects, I’ve been fortunate to close multi-million dollar deals with some of the biggest companies in our space.

Another source of pride is how we were able to beat our competition to those relationships – despite them having more experience in IoT, more capital and a bigger network of investors and contacts. Those deals were possible because I saw the future of what was important to big platform companies and helped position SkyBell HD as the “platform’s doorbell.”
